The original Hypnotic Gastric band System (Gastric Mind Band) was written by Marion and Martin Shirran based in Spain (the Elite Clinic), although a more accessible and revised version was created by John Maclean in the mid 2000’s and has come to be known, internationally, as the “Hypno-Band” Weight Loss System.

There are more than 900 Hypno-Band practitioners all over the World, all of whom have had to prove their Hypnotherapy background before being allowed to obtain a license to practice the technique.
