Unfortunately we are no longer offering a Sports Hypnosis service as all of our Sports Improvement techniques have been replaced with evidence based Psychology principles, more specifically improving your sport by using the Thrive Programme.
The Problem with Sports Hypnosis
The decision to cease offering Sports Hypnosis is based on research evidence which shows that the most effective and lasting forms of personal change are those that are brought about by making those changes personally.
If the person believes that a “hypnotist” did “something” to them to make them perform more effectively, then research shows that the person does not fully appreciate the change as something they have actually done themselves, and as such are not able to fully believe in themselves and their new ability.
In fact, we would say that their “Locus of Control” has become more external by this belief and this leads to a diminished sense of personal control!
What’s Better than Sports Hypnosis?
If you want to make fundamental changes to the way that you think or process your sports performance then you should really consider learning how to manage your thinking using our evidence based technique called the Thrive Programme.
