  3. Calorific value of food consumed – “C” (Simply the total amount of calories in the food you eat and drink during the day)

If A + B = C then your weight will be constant (Energy in and Energy out the same)

If A + B > C then you will lose weight (Energy in LESS than the Energy you expend)

If A + B < C then you will gain weight (Energy in GREATER than the Energy you use up)

So the main question becomes: “How can a person increase their level of EFFORT or level of MOTIVATION to lose weight?”
