Men do NOT have the same emotional relationship with food as women do.. think about it, from a very early age young children are generally “nurtured” by the Mother in the household .(Of course, we know that this is not always the case).

So when it comes to helping either Men or Women deal with their emotional relationship with food (Widely recognised as THE main reason why people eat more than they need) then a “general approach” is less likely to be effective.

Why a different system for men?

Men invariably put all the excess weight onto their “belly”.. Unfortunately this is just about the worst place you can put extra fat (apart from the Heart of course).

This is very different to the ladies who tend to put it on the backsides, not quite so dangerous but still a cause for concern nevertheless.

Joan is a Licensed Hypno-Band practitioner and uses a specially modified version of the system which pays special attention to the Cognitive (or thinking) element of the system..

*For people aged 35 and over classified as having a raised waist circumference, men were twice as likely and women were four times more likely to have type 2 diabetes
